Born and raised in Florida, Maria has been living in Gainesville since 1998. She has been working in the medical field for over 20 years. Before joining Gainesville Medical Centers in March of 2016, Maria worked in an Ophthalmology/Retina practice for almost 16 years. She is married to her middle school sweetheart and they have 5 wonderful children. When not working, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, attending her daughter's volleyball tournaments and volunteering at her church. She is thrilled to be a part of Gainesville Medical Centers and absolutely adores the team she works along side of.
Sam has been living in the Gainesville area for the last seven years. She has nine years of Phlebotomy experience, and seven years of Medical Assisting. She has a wide variety of experience having previously worked in the laboratory at Florida Hospital, Lifesouth Bloodbank, and at a General Surgeon's office. She loves helping people and will go above and beyond for her patients. She is very excited to progress her Medical Assisting career in Regenerative medicine and Allergy with Gainesville Medical Centers. In her spare time she builds houses for Habitat for Humanity, and enjoys spending time with her husband Josh and daughter Hailee.
Shavon is the latest addition to the Gainesville Medical Centers team. She has been a Gainesville resident for the past 11 years and loves living here. She began working in the medical field in 2013 and is currently pursing a degree from Santa Fe College. She enjoys getting to know all of the patients at GMC and loves helping each and every one of them. In her free time, Shavon enjoys exploring different towns and cities throughout Florida.
Daphne is a Florida native who has been in the medical field since 1989 when she began working as a radiologic technologist. She worked at Munroe Regional Medical Center in the Radiology department and Cardic Catheterization Lab for 10 years. She graduated from the University of Florida Physician Assistant Program in 2004. She is experienced in neurosurgery, dermatology, family medicine, urgent care medicine, gerontology, allergy and immunology and anti-aging/regerative medicine including PRP aesthetic and soft tissue procedures. She has 4 beautiful children, loves animals, athletics and being outdoors.
Dr. Raulerson, and his family have resided in Gainesville for many years, and farming was his first job. Fast forward several years, and Dr. Raulerson decided to attend the University of Florida, where he obtained his Bachelor’s degree, completed Medical School and his residency. He is currently board certified in Family Medicine, with special interests in urgent care, allergy and medical management. Dr. Raulerson loves spending time with his wife and four children and they are all huge Gator fans. He brings a wealth of knowledge to our practice from his years of practicing family medicine, as well as his personal and family experiences with allergies and food sensitivities.
Tony has been a business owner in Gainesville for the last 20 years. He is an expert in marketing and has taken Gainesville Medical Centers to great heights by incorporating unique marketing avenues that medical practices typically do not use. His vision was to have a medical practice with a business model that allowed the clinical staff to be 100% focused on patient care and continuing education, while the owners and administrative team focused on community outreach, building solid referral partners and business development. Outside of the office he is a dedicated father and husband that enjoys home remodeling.
Jen has been in Gainesville since 1994, when she moved here to attend the University of Florida. She obtained her degree in Exercise and Sports Science from the College of Health and Human Performance. Since then she has held various positions in the healthcare industry; from pharmaceutical sales, medical device sales, to now owning Gainesville Medical Centers. Jen’s passion for health, and desire to see others improve their quality of life, paved the way for her to open a medical practice that embraces personalized medical care. When she is away from the practice, Jen is devoted to her church, her husband, her two boys and can often be found at her home, away from home, the gym.
